Makorra Kissing Plush Dolls: I made this pair over the summer while watching Legend of Korra. They were an experimental project. I added magnets in their mouth so their lips would gravitate and press together in a kiss. Mako, honestly, was a pain to sew (haha), which was surprising because he has a rather uninvolved character design. Korra on the other hand was a delight despite all her details. I absolutely love her. They hang out at my English Department office so my professors often stopped by to “aww” at them.
